lyrics

The good ones live to love. The selfish ones are tryin' to take advantage of us. I'm sick of seein' friends shedding tears and losing sleep over the worst of men. There's a fine line between pacifism and apathy if we rest our heads while the wicked use the weak. I'm tradin' in my olive branch for justice in the end. What good is bein' the bigger man if they know no consequence? I bite my tongue until it bleeds, practicing ethics to all the scumbags who choose to live unethically. This is the reason that I can't sleep. A blind faith in karma is no longer enough for me. To be honest, I've lost any interest in bein' the nice guy if that means constantly turning a blind eye. Manipulation and disrespect have earned you a permanent place at the top of my list. I'll carry a mirror so you can see clearer, the hate that you choose. Reflect it right back at you.
